Demanding stage of the long-distance hiking trail Via Alpina - Roter Weg. From Gargellen it now goes into the heart of the Silvretta. A very strenuous stage that leads to over 2,500m - to the Vergaldner Joch. Interestingly, the Vergaldner valley has a favorable climate, so that an extremely diverse world of flowers has developed on the southern slopes.
