This winding path travels next to Denio Creek and features a relatively easy trail with a couple of rolling hills along the way. A variety of birds and wildlife can be spotted throughout the route, including the endangered golden-cheeked warblers. This is one of the less-trafficked trails in the park but it is certainly worth the visit.

Explore the beautiful Paluxy River and discover the many dinosaur tracks along this relatively flat and easy trail. This is a great choice to bring the whole family along and includes incredible viewpoints to stop and enjoy the surroundings. The route is mainly shaded and travels under a canopy of hardwoods.

This trail is well marked, clean, and well-maintained which is great for a long hike around the perimeter of Dinosaur Valley State Park. The trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. Many sections of this trail are exposed and bringing sun protection is advised. There are some rolling hills along the way and several sections of loose rock.

There are many scenic overlooks along the way to stop and enjoy the surroundings. The trail is mostly shaded and travels through a forested area where a variety of wildlife can be spotted.

This short and scenic trail offers a lot of different viewpoints through an ever-changing terrain. There are several creek crossings across the Paluxy River while on the Limestone Ledge Trail, so be prepared to get your feet wet. The highlight of this trail is the Main Track Site where the first sauropod dinosaur track was discovered.
