From the car park at Osteecamp Glücksburg-Holnis, head to the promenade along the beautiful sandy beach with a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. Great walk from Holnis, Holnis Peninsula, Schleswig Holstein The short route is ideal for a walk. The start and end is at the Fährhaus car park. On paved paths it goes along fields towards the beach. Arrived at a sailor's grave, the walk goes a bit along the shore of the Flensburg Fjord. The route offers little shade, so sun protection is recommended. This segment of the Gendarmstien comes from Brunsnæs to Gammelmark Camping and Dynt strand. The trail will pass through open field landscapes, small villages and Skeldekobbel forest. There will be a nice view of Flensburg fjord on large parts of the trail when the trail comes along the coast. It is also possible to spend the night en route at Skeldekobbel forest's primitive tent site.
