Perfect for hikers, bikers, and runners alike this inner-city trail will take you on a well-maintained paved path that follows along the beautiful Bear River. The small loop at its end circles around Bear Creek Reservoir. Here there is a spray park, and pavillion with public washrooms. In the winter, the reservoir can be used as a skate park (signage will be visible when the ice is frozen enough) and members can pack there skates for a fun adventure.

This is a great easy paved trail for walking or cycling that is well groomed and well suited for strollers. It's not too hilly and the forested environment provides shelter from the wind. This trail is normally easy to follow, but during the spring melt sections of the trail may be inundated with water. Users recommend downloading the offline maps to help re-route around water during the spring months. Overall, this is a great trail if you are looking for a longer but easy hike! There are a few picnic tables with good viewpoints throughout the route, so come to enjoy this land and have a break!
