You walk in a living countryside with interesting history, walk through deciduous forest near Lake Vättern and also in steep pine forest and pass Röttleån through a deep ravine.

One of Småland's oldest and most popular hiking trails. The trail follows the orange markings and takes you through a typical Småland forest landscape with wonderful views. The hike starts in Gränna and ends at Hättebaden's campsite in Tranås. The trail mostly runs on forest roads and closer to Gränna the terrain becomes more hilly.
