The start of this cycle route is in the car park at Place du Cours Honoré Cresp in Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes department. This route draws a large loop of about 27 kilometers which reaches the lake of Saint-Cassien. The return route notably passes through Val de Tignet and Peymeinade.

Along the way, you will pass through scrubland, undergrowth, Col du Clapier, Colle de Rougiès ridge and Col de l'Êcre. You will have very beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding peaks.

This hike is located in the Regional Natural Park of the Préalpes d'Azur, and begins next to the Chêne de l'Empereur, a tree under which Emperor Napoleon 1st ate in 1815. This route crosses the valley of Saint-Christophe to reach the Bois de la Marbière, from where you will have a beautiful view.
