This hike is a combination of three trails in Cliffs of the Neuse State Park: Lake Trail, Spanish Moss Trail and Longleaf Trail. The highlight of the hike is the over look of the Neuse River up on the cliffs and then along the lake shore. The trail is fairly flat and well marked traversing mostly through woods. The Lakeshore trail is the longest. Along the shorter Spanish Moss trail there are some steep descents and accents. You can go down to the river along here.
