For most of the year the trail is open only to city of Greenwich residents (pass holders) or paying guests who are with pass holders. For more information, please visit https://www.greenwichct.gov/facilities/facility/details/Greenwich-Point-Park-69. Dogs are permitted December 1st-March 31st annually. Along the route there are great views of the ocean and the New York City skyline.

Mianus River is a 400 acre urban forest filled with wetlands, lakes, streams, and rocky outcroppings. A two mile stretch of the Mianus River flows through the park. The trail begins by passing the lake and following the path along Brothers Brook. The park is a wonderful place for birding. Mallards, pheasants, herons, woodpeckers, and cranes all call the park home. Other wildlife such as deer, fox, coyote, river otters, squirrels, and raccoons can be spotted as well.

This paved trail loops around the park with a nice view of the water. Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the gravel parking lot off of Elmcroft Road at the north end of the trail. None of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved asphalt with some cracks and bumps and typically at least 4 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less).
