The route to the Igltalalm is a child-friendly forest path; on the alpine pasture you can romp in the playground, look for ducks, dogs and cats and marvel at the water wheel with the brook. You can stop in the hut and order a hearty snack. After that, however, it's off to the mountains, so the smaller children shouldn't come along.

From the Breitenebenweg car park, walk along the road in the direction of Langbrand and from there to the Unterwandalm. With a bit of luck, musical accompaniment will be offered here in addition to the snack. From here it goes on to the Karseggalm and the Breitenebenalm. Varied mountain hike in the Ankogel Group of the Central Eastern Alps near Grossarl. You start at the managed Aualm, which can be reached via a gravel road and offers parking facilities. From here it goes on forest and meadow paths, hiking trails and occasionally also via insured passages and ladders to the Austuhl and to the Schuhflickersee and over the summit of the Schuhflicker and Liechtensteinkopf back again.
