This fun route begins at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Zapopan and explores the eastern outskirts of the Bosque de la Primavera park, a natural reserve known for its beautiful forest of mainly oak and pine trees. The trail is well-signposted and moderately easy. You will climb slightly in the hills, for good views of the city. There is a measure of shade, but sun protection and/or a cap are suggested.

This beautiful circular route explores the Bosque de la Primavera park. It will take you around the Mesa la Lobera hill. In the first section, you walk through the upper part where you can see some wonderful views of the urban sprawl. The second part of the trail goes along the bed of streams and surrounding paths. It has a variety of ascents and descents through canyons and ridges to make your hike interesting and give you good exercise.

This plateau has a height of 2110 meters above sea level, and here you will find Tower 2, a watchtower made of metal. You will have impressive views, and the opportunity to observe a lot of flora and fauna in this forest of mainly pine and oak trees.

The Metropolitan Park is a green and beautiful space in the city of Zapopan. This trail takes you in a loop throughout the park, along paved trails and is perfect for running or just walking. Here in the park you can do other activities such as rent a tricycle or bicycle and ride the tracks, fly kites (they sell them inside), or have a small picnic under the shade of the trees. This route starts on Camino al Arenero street on the outskirts of Zapopan and takes you to the top of El Chapulín hill in the Bosque de la Primavera park. The trail is short but is considered to be of moderate difficulty due to the increase in elevation. It has a good measure of shade due to the trees, mainly pine and oak. From the top, you will have nice views of your surroundings.
