This 12th and final stage of the GR®3 connects Guérande to La Baule-Escoublac in Loire-Atlantique. The route leaves the beautiful medieval town of Guérande for a bucolic setting, where the eye can see the horizon. The path passes through the hamlets of La Fougère, Kerbironne, Kervin before reaching the beautiful beach of La Baule in the Bay of Pouliguen.

Departing from Guérande or La Turballe, this itinerary takes you to discover the white gold which ensured the prosperity of the Guérande peninsula and which still makes it famous today. By taking the hillside, you overlook the salt marshes and enjoy a panoramic view of Le Croisic and its traict (arm of the sea). A stroll between sea and ocean, over 13 km.

Before leaving Guérande, are you sure you have discovered all of its facets? Its small medieval streets invite you to stroll, take advantage of it! From the city center, we suggest you follow the Vélocéan markings: it will direct you towards the old railway line which linked La Baule to Guérande. Redeveloped into a cycle path, it is ideal for going down quietly towards La Baule. Crossing the Beslon footbridge, you reach the seafront for a well-deserved relaxing beach.
