The Stavrand

This walk is a self-guided interpretive walk in old-growth redwoods with outstanding examples of plant life within an old-growth grove. A segment of this route has been designed for sight-impaired visitors. There is a guide rope along one side of the (Discovery) trail leading to a series of Braille Information placards.

Bodega Head is a four-mile-long peninsula just south of the Bodega Dunes and north of Bodega Harbor. It features a boat launch area, many pocket beaches, and stunning cliff views from several coastline trails. During their spring and fall migrations, grey whales can be spotted from here. This dirt trail is great for hiking and biking, but dogs are not allowed.
