Accessibility: There do not appear to be any designated accessible spaces in the gravel parking lot off of 258 at the west end of the trail. The Birdwalk Trail at Reed Bingham State park can be an out and back trail or a loop trail that will bring you back to the same parking area you left from if you continue on the Little River Trail at its conclusion. The trail is mainly hard packed soil with a boardwalk over low lying areas that tend to get swampy during heavy rains.

The Little River trail is an out back trail that meets up with the Birdwalk Trail and the Yearling Trail at it's end. Continuing on the Birdwalk Trail will make this a loop trail that brings you back to the same parking area where the Little River Trail began.

This is a beautiful boardwalk trek. Bring plenty of water and bug spray just in case. Accessibility: There are do not appear to be any designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Knight Academy Road at the east end of the trail. The trail surface is a wooden boardwalk that mostly has edge barriers or railings and typically at least 5 feet wide. The estimated grade is gentle (3% or less). This is a pleasant stroll along the river, passing by abandoned remnants of buildings from the past. There are many opportunities to view wildlife and the wildflowers in the area. There are many spur trails along the way that can be unmarked and confusing- following the downloaded map is recommended for navigating.
