Scandic Hämeenlinna City

Hämeenlinna is Finland's oldest inland city on the shores of Vanajavesi in Kanta-Häme. This route departs from Ystävyydenpuisto Park and finds a wooded nature trail through a bustling city. The trip goes to the edge of Jumoinsuo on the shores of Vanajavesi, and comes back to the starting point along the same wooded landscapes. The Häme Ilvesreitti is a hiking trail more than 200 kilometers long in the southern part of the Häme Lake Uplands in Loppi, Tammela, Riihimäki and Hämeenlinna. This section goes from Hämeenlinna to Räyskälä. There are fire pits and shelters along the route. The route is marked with yellow signs and lynx symbols.
