The highlight of this hike is the Mattenbach suspension bridge which connects Grub in Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Grub St. Gallen. The bridge is 180m long. Since April 2019, the two villages of Grub AR and Grub SG have been connected to each other again by an attractive, 180-meter-long suspension bridge over the Mattenbach.
