Popular circular hiking trail near Heinsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia. This short loop along the shore of Lago Laprello is ideal for a relaxing walk with the whole family. Wonderful trail from Posterholt through the Munnichsbos (monks forest). It is an ancient natural forest with a lot of untouched nature. There is a lot of wildlife in nature, such as deer, foxes, wild boars or squirrels. This walk also passes Castle Aerwinkel, a unique country house where you can stop for a snack and a drink.

Cycle route between Posterholt and Swalmen. You drive through the countryside and forests, along the river Roer and Swalm and over the German-Dutch border.

Tour starting from the holiday park. You walk into the surrounding forests, along several of the many streams. The route takes you through Posterholt for a short while, after which you visit Aerwinkel Castle (https://kasteelaerwinkel.nl/). You walk around the castle, through the estates and along the pond. Then you walk along the Vlootbeek to the Munningsbosch. You walk alternately through forest and fields, with regular views of the stream, back to the holiday park.
