This trail takes you through the scenic surroundings of Teglstrup Hegn, where you can enjoy the beautiful forested nature. Along the way, you will have good chances to see wild life, as the area creates good living conditions. You will also come across several lakes where it is possible to watch ducks and other birds. You will also briefly come along the coast, where you will have a view of the Sound.

This trail comes via the Nordkyststien at Marienlyst. The trail comes through Kogenshave, which offers slightly forested surroundings. The trail will also pass Marienlyst Castle, which was built in 1588 by Frederik II, who also built Kronborg Castle. The castle was used as a hunting castle, and was named after Frederik II's wife Juliane Marie.

Along the way you will pass a number of lakes, the largest of which can be found in Teglstrup Hegn. Here you will pass Sortesø and Klaresø, where it is also possible to watch ducks and other birds.

The trail also partly passes through Helsingør, where Kronborg Castle can be seen from a distance. Kronborg Castle is known for, among other things, having Holger Danske (legendary paladin of Charlemagne)....

This trail was used during KMD Ironman in Elsinore 2019. Along the trail you will come through forests such as Hellebæk, Kloserris forest and Horserød Hegn and along the coast with a view of the Øresund. The trail can also be backpacked or used for bike tours, as there are many accommodation options along the way.
