Park up at the far end of the Preserve on Jock Rd. This is a dirt road off Old Oxford Hwy. Alternatively park at the first parking area closer to the Hwy and complete this lollipop like loop route in reverse. Start on the Horton Loop off the left, complete the loop near the start point but cross over Jock Road and bear right to join Peaks Loop trail. Bear left and the start of the Peaks Loop trail. Park at the designated trailhead for the MST on the right hand side of Creedmoor Rd. There is parking for about 5/6 cars. If this pulloff is full, park on the left hand side of the road that has space for 2-3 cars. The trailhead for the start of this section is just behind. It bears downhill and then left to reach an information board and a sign indicating Falls Lake trail, foot traffic only.
