Meyer Park is a beautiful 180 acre area with so many activities to enjoy! Some of the amenities include two softball fields, 26 soccer fields, and a basketball court. The park also features a barbecue pavilion, a gazebo, paved trails with workout stations, and a 3-acre fishing lake. This route features well-maintained and groomed multi-use trails with paved and dirt options. These are some of the best mountain biking trails close to Houston with many different options for trail connections. There is plenty of wildlife to observe throughout the diverse ecosystems in the park including foxes, coyotes, armadillos, and a variety of birds.

This is just a small portion of the extensive trails along Cypress Creek. This section is all blacktop and makes the loop around Gurley Pond.

The trail is primarily used by GHORBA.org and is listed on their website as the CCMTB (Cypress Creek Mountain Bike Trail). The trail is hiker-friendly. There are a total of 13 trails within the park and all can be combined into one long hike. The trail is clearly marked with lots of offshoots to make up the 13 total trails. There are both paved and dirt trails. Dirt trails are considered moderate though some areas are challenging. Seems to always be an alternate route for challenging areas....
