This loop consists of Callie's Crossing, Pete's Path, Stewart's Stroll, Latta Cut-Off, Marshall Trail Klingeman Trail, and Parish Path. This loop is well maintained and there is interpretive signage to educate visitors on the local flora. There are many intersecting trails and it is recommended to download the route offline to navigate.

This trail traverses the North Shore of Grapevine Lake. There are several trailheads for this route available at Rockledge Park, Murrell Park, MADD Shelter, and Twin Coves Park. This is an old motocross trail that is used primarily for mountain biking. The course is more technical on the west side trails (west from MADD Shelter).

This portion of the hike is from Rockledge Park to Murrell Park trailhead and back. Several trailheads are located along the North Shore Trail at Rockledge Park, Murrell Park, MADD Shelter, and Twin Coves Park. This is a single-track trail that accommodates mountain biking, hiking, and running. The trail meanders along the shoreline of Lake Grapevine and through a dense hardwood forest. Wildlife viewing opportunities include fox, deer, rabbit, and various birdlife.
