Motel 6 Irving - Loop 12

This preserve is one of the county's first open-space preserves that is great for walking, jogging, canoeing on the river, and riding bikes. The trail parallels the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and Mountain Creek and is a beautiful place to enjoy a peaceful walk. Some of the amenities of the park include a playground, basketball court, picnic pavilion, grills, and covered rest areas.

This is a flat paved trail with great views and is a popular spot for joggers and bikers. There are lots of opportunities for bird-watching along the way. Overall, this is a family-friendly area that makes for a great place for kids to explore. Great views of Downtown Dallas can be seen from different viewpoints along the path.
