A pleasant excursion on Lake Maggiore, starting from Stresa in the parking lot near the port and proceeding in the direction of Levo passing through Someraro. The route proceeds counterclockwise passing by Mottarone (1491m), where it is possible to admire beautiful views. Proceed in the direction of Monte Zughero (1230m) passing through Alpe Nuovo (1205m).

This route is decidedly more technical than the Mottarone Sentiero Blu and is mainly on dirt. The utmost caution is recommended as the alleys are very narrow and meet pedestrians and cars. There are several signs that make it clear that the "down hill" is not welcome. In conclusion, this is an absolutely fun ride. To be done in dry conditions if possible. A bike ride among the splendid blooms of Lake Maggiore, Camellias, Rhododendrons and Azaleas will accompany you in the Fondotoce - Mergozzo stretch, making your tour colorful, especially between April and May. Departing from Stresa, proceed along the shores of Lake Maggiore to Feriolo and enter the Fondo Toce Nature Reserve and go around Lake Mergozzo.

An excursion by bicycle, departing from Stresa, in the parking lot of Piazza Possi dottor Felice and reaching the SS 33 (a panoramic route along the lake), here continue towards Arona. You cross the villages of Belgirate, Lesa and Meina enjoying the beautiful landscape. Once in Arona we proceed to the Naval League where we can turn around a parking lot and take the same panoramic road to return to Stresa.
