Parking is available just off Giles St in a large lot. The trail follows Six Mile Creek with some awesome views of the river along the way. Some sections of the trail are more wooded. The trail ends at the dam creating Ithaca Reservoir. Some areas are heavily eroded and sandy, anyone who is unsure of their footing/balance may want trekking poles.
Activities
Features
The trail does not have a designated parking area, hikers will need to find parking in Ithaca and walk to the starting point. This is a well manicured trail following a series of stone and cement steps and crushed gravel pathways alongside Cascadilla Creek. There are several small waterfalls/cascades to stop and look at.
Activities
Features
Very simple, easy walk to a small waterfall. These falls have a fun little sitting area made of rock chairs and a rock table at the base of the falls, and they are also with in a few minutes drive of other falls such as Cascadilla Falls. No swimming.
Activities
Features
This loop offers scenic views of cliffs and Fall Creek. There are some gentle slopes but it is an easy trail overall.
Activities
Features
This loop explores the Buttermilk Falls gorge and rim and highlights the most scenic parts of the park. From the parking area, you will first hike into the gorge with Buttermilk Creek running through it. At West King Road, walk across the bridge to the Rim Trail. This will follow above the gorge and head back to the starting point.
