This is a fun trail in the middle of a decent-sized town and is part of the Ice Age Trail. The trail is flanked by the Rock River and a wall of limestone. The path is a bit narrow in places and a bit rocky, but that’s what adds to the fun. This trail can be accessed through Riverside Park across from the tennis courts. There are public bathrooms right there and picnic tables and benches along the river.

Start at Devils Staircase Trailhead by Arbor Ridge Subdivision. Follow the Ice Age Trail Arbor Ridge Segment until it emerges onto the prairie area. Just past the raised deck/platform the Blue Trail diverges to the left into the woods from the Ice Age Trail. A single track trail with moderate terrain. Rated 4 Stars because it’s a good workout.
