A nice stroll through parts of downtown JC. The path is wide, paved, flat, and usually very clean. JC Parks and Rec and the Public Arts Committee have done a great job of placing sculptures along the paths. Brush Creek runs the length of the park and has a few, small cascades to admire. To reach the trailhead, park at the disc and mountain bike lot, or the lot just above wing deer athletics. This is the paved trail system through Winged Deer Park. There are multiple trail intersections that can lead you out to the dirt trails if you prefer. A few sections are steeper than others, but overall is a good path for walkers, runners, and families. This route is the "Fly by Night" moderate mountain biking route located at Winged Deer Park. There are two other smaller trails to connect to off of this main trail- the expert route called Roll the Bones, and the small easy route called Tom Sawyer. Overall, there is something for everyone at this park to enjoy.
