Very pretty and well-maintained trail. Paved the whole way and only a little bit of biking in the street. Accessibility: There are over 10 designated accessible spaces in the very large paved parking lot off of Romence Road at the southeast end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved asphalt or concrete, smooth, and typically at least 5 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less) except for one moderately steep...

This trail has it all! Just ten minutes from downtown Kalamazoo, Bow in the Clouds Nature Preserve is a secluded oasis with easy but beautiful trails, a boardwalk through wetlands, a creek, a jaunt through a cemetery, and lots of birds. If you’re looking for a challenge, take a couple trips up and down the steps that go to the cemetery. Trail is clearly marked - follow the blue markers, then the white for a figure-8 trip around the perimeter of the preserve.
