This hike rich in history begins at the level of the Franco-German border, decorated with a Memorial of 39-45. The route runs along the Lauter river and passes through the Lanzensee Redoubt, the Villars Redoubt, Bienwaldmühle and the Ziegelhütte Redoubt, among others. The route continues through the Redoute Maréchal de Marcin, and through the Bienwald wood before returning to the starting point.

Warning: this route is not accessible when the Rhine floods.

This cycle route in the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park connects Lauterbourg to Wissembourg in the Bas-Rhin. The route leads you to discover the landscapes of the La Lauter valley. The path crosses a cultivated countryside before joining the beautiful Vosges forest where the hiking trails in the Dahner Felsenland begin.

This cross-border circuit which passes by two ferries (Seltz and Neubourg), invites you to stroll in peace to discover different landscapes along the Rhine. From Seltz to Neubourg, this route allows you to discover the Sauer Delta nature reserve, the backwaters of the Rhine, and the Goldkanal, as well as the museums of the Rhenish Pamina Park which line the circuit. As for relaxation, there are many places to swim. Please note that the German portion is not coated.
