Kyllini Beach - Chlemoutsi Castle (Παραλία Κυλλήνη - Κάστρο Χλεμούτσι) From Kyllini beach, this beautiful route leads to Chlemoutsi Castle, often called Kastro Kyllinis. The castle was built between 1220-1223 AD and was the most important castle of the Principality of Achaia during the Frankish rule in the area. The route is directed east going up the cultivated hills of the countryside in western Peloponnese. The course starts and ends at the beach close to the Melissa campsite area.
