The walk along the Lontzenerbach is beautiful the whole year round because of its flora and fauna. However, the best time is between March and May, when wild daffodils are in bloom. The flowering time depends on how long and cold the winter was. One must know that the Hohnbacher narcissi unfold their yellow flowers much earlier than the better known wild daffodils of the northern Eifel. Incidentally, the Lontzenerbach is also referred to as Hohnbach.
