Official hiking trail of the Eifelverein Kerpen in Horrem, North Rhine-Westphalia From Horren train station, this hiking trail runs counterclockwise past Hemmersbach Castle, through the Parrig nature reserve to Lake Boisdorf. At the southern tip there is the Pope's Hill - from which Pope Benedict XVI. 2003 preached to the participants of World Youth Day. The route is easily accessible by train/bus.
