This trail is on the CTC (Central Texas College) campus. It is located behind Metroplex hospital. The little gravel parking lot is located on Ranch Road, just after the turn-off on Loop road. This route combines a series of trails that make for a scenic family-friendly route in Dana Peak Park. There is a mix of sun and shade along the way, and it is suggested to bring some form of sun protection. The terrain is a mix of rocky and loose tread with some rolling hills to keep the trail interesting.

There is a combination of both sun and shade located around the Fence Line Trail, that travels the perimeter of the park. The terrain is mostly along a rocky trail with rolling elevation changes. Make a quick detour to the Twin Peaks for those who want a scenic view of the area, but be prepared to hike up a hill.

The Dana Peak Park trail system features routes of various lengths and levels of difficulty. The terrain is often rocky with wooded areas. There are some pump trail areas that make for a fast and flowy ride. While the loop is mostly flat, there are several sections of short and punchy uphill to keep you on your toes.

This is a scenic less-traveled path around the base of Dana Peak, which makes for a great family-friendly hike. The trail can be quite rocky in some sections but for the most part, is manageable. There are many other trail connections to make from this trailhead for those who wish to extend their route.
