Mallories, Kirkby Mallory: Certified Dog-Friendly Rank & Review
Mallories Formerly Kirkby House received an acceptable C Roch Rank. While most rooms are dog-friendly, only two designated rooms allow dogs to stay for free. Otherwise, expect a £15 per night fee, which is very reasonable compared to other hotels. Dogs are welcome in the bar, and they even have a special dog menu from Sir Woofchesters, which is a nice touch. However, don't expect to find dog beds or bowls in the rooms, so pack your own essentials.
They have a grassy garden area on site if your pup needs a quick run. Dogs can also be left alone in the room, offering some flexibility if you need to pop out for a while. But, with no dog-walking or sitting services available, you're on your own for exercise options.
Weight restrictions aren't an issue here and all breeds are welcome, but you're limited to two dogs per room. There aren't any public green spaces in the immediate village, but you are surrounded by countryside only a short walk away. Overall, Mallories is adequate for a short stay, but don't expect luxury dog treatment.
This hotel has been evaluated, ranked, and reviewed using the Roch Standard, the world's first dog friendly standard for the hotel industry. We gathered data directly from the hotel, and benchmarked it against thousands of other hotels in order to fairly derive its rank.
