Ten Mile Creek Greenway runs parallel to Ten Mile Creek, hence the name. The Greenway passes by Walker Spring Park which offers a 0.3-mile connector trail to the Greenway. Starting near Gallaher View Road is an option, though, for the most convenient parking, you may want to start at the Carmike Wynnsong Theater (the end of the trail) or at Walker Springs Park. There is only one road crossing (Bridgewater). There are tunnels under I-40, Walker Springs Road, and Gallaher View Road....

The trail surface is asphalt or cement, and typically at least 5 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less) except for steep (8-12%) uphill and downhill sections at about 0.5 and 1.8 miles when going westbound. The trail starts at West Hills YMCA, but you can also join it at the West Hills Elementary at the east or the West End Church of Christ at the west end. There are bathrooms located near the YMCA as well as near the tennis courts.
