Historic hiking trail through the city center of Koblenz The city walk leads from the Koblenz train station via the Electoral Palace to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on the opposite side of the Rhine. A cable car over the Rhine allows you to reach the fortress, which can alternatively be reached by ferry and a short ascent to Ehrenbreitstein.
