Lesser Poland Way of St. James is one of the routes passing through Poland as part of the European Camino de Santiago network. The trail refers to a medieval route running along the edge of the Vistula River valley from Sandomierz to Kraków. As a whole, the trail is about 200 kilometers long. Stage nine begins at the Cracow Archbishops' Palace gate in Kraków and ends at the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec.

This unique trail offers a chance to discover the beauty of the Bielańsko-Tyniecki Landscape Park and enjoy nature in the immediate surroundings of Kraków. The route begins near the city center, by the National Museum. The first stage runs through the Wolski Forest to the Bielany neighborhood, where it crosses the Vistula River. It then turns around and continues along the right bank of the river along a quiet bicycle route to the Dębnicki Bridge and the beginning of the way.
