Beautiful short and light route will take you parallel to the sea of La Paz along the scenic highway. Start at Marina Palmira where you can see the beautiful boats coming and going. It will take you to the Pichilingües Mangrove. This route is paved, through the city area, so it is easily accessible for people with reduced mobility or baby carriages and it is even great for riding a bicycle. You will be delighted with the impressive sunsets over the sea that make the sky look like a work of art.

The Cerro de la Calavera got its spooky name from its unusual rock formations and arches. It is an especially nice place to watch the sunset. The climb can be a bit rocky, therefore appropriate shoes are suggested. This route takes you to the top of the hill from the south. The trail ends here, but you can follow the suggested route along the crest of the hill. You will have beautiful views of the capital city of BCS, and the Gulf of California.
