CDH Hotel La Spezia, La Spezia: Certified Dog-Friendly Rank & Review
CDH Hotel La Spezia received a failing F Roch Rank. This place is a tough sell for dog owners. Dogs are welcome, but the welcome mat is pretty threadbare. They're not allowed in the breakfast room, and there's no mention of any dog-friendly areas like a terrace or lounge. If you're hoping to leave your dog alone in the room, think again—it's not allowed, which means you're tethered to your four-legged friend for the duration of your stay.
Amenities are non-existent here. No dog beds, bowls, or treats are provided, so pack your own gear. There's no garden or dedicated dog space, and the lack of nearby parks makes it a challenge for city walks. The hotel doesn't offer any dog services like walking or sitting, and there's no emergency vet access, which is a glaring oversight.
The fee is €12 for the whole stay, which isn't expensive, but given the lack of amenities and restrictions, it feels like you're paying for nothing. There's no weight limit or restriction on the number of dogs per room, but that's about the only positive note. Overall, this hotel is not set up for a comfortable stay with your dog.
In summary, CDH Hotel La Spezia is best avoided if you're traveling with your dog. The lack of facilities and services makes it a poor choice for dog owners looking for a welcoming and convenient stay.
This hotel has been evaluated, ranked, and reviewed using the Roch Standard, the world's first dog friendly standard for the hotel industry. We gathered data directly from the hotel, and benchmarked it against thousands of other hotels in order to fairly derive its rank.

A nice excursion to do in MTB, inside the Cinque Terre Natural Park. The route runs in an anti-clockwise loop and starts from Campigli and reaches the Sella di Cigoletta (611 m) and then arrives at Case Fornachi. On the way back you pass by Manarola, a very beautiful village on the sea, where you can see beautiful views and sunsets.
