Ciasa Montanara

An uphill route starting from La Villa | Stern in Val Badia, near the Ciastel Colz. The trail leads through beautiful meadows and forests to the Sponata Hut and shortly after to the Gardenacia Hut (2050m). Here path n°1A begins, which leads through a rocky landscape to the Piza de Gherdenacia (2673m). This peak offers spectacular views of the Dolomites. This fantastic hike is located in Val Badia starting in La Ila | Stern | La Villa. From the center of the village, the path leads through several hamlets to the hamlet of Castalta, where path no. 13 begins. A very nice route starting from La Ila | La Villa | Stern in Val Badia, which winds through the Puez-Odle Nature Park. It passes through the hamlet of Plotten where a path zigzags up through an idyllic forest to the Gardenacia Refuge (2050m). The descent passes by the Sponata Hut and the Florian Hut in Plaön.

The Pralongia is a beatuiful alpine hut in the heart of the Dolomites. After a nice walk you can enjoy lying down and watching the Marmolada - the queen of the Dolomites - Sella, Tofane and Cirspitze. There are climbing playgrounds for kids and also a pond where they can wet their feet. This route can be shortened along the way using various lifts and becomes very kid friendly and accessible.

This fantastic route begins in La Ila | Stern | La Villa in Val Badia and leads to the Fanes Refuge, where it is possible to stay overnight. A steep ascent leads out of the village, through a forest and in tight switchbacks on rocky terrain to the Forcella de Medesc (2533m). It continues along path no. 12 and a gentle descent leads to the small Alpe di Fanes where the Fanes Refuge (2060m) and the Lavarella Refuge (2050m) are located.
