The trailhead includes limited parking. If parking is full at the main trailhead, you can alternately take Alta Laguna Boulevard to go straight to the Top of the World if you just want to check out the view. This is not a good choice for a hike right after a hard rain, as the trail can be closed for mud. This trail takes you straight to the Top of the World viewpoint and is a shorter option for checking out the view.
