This trail leads you under live oak trees and to beautiful views of the marsh. Blue egrets and cattle herons can often be seen around Alligator Lake. Many sections of this trail are exposed and bringing sun protection is advised. There are benches along the way to take a small break if needed (especially with young children) and the path is fairly even and well maintained.

This is a beautiful and short trail that leads visitors to the scenic Falling Creek Falls. This is a quick detour right off of Highway I-10 which features a short but mighty cascade that flows over limestone boulders in a ravine. There is a short and accessible boardwalk portion that offers easy access to the views.

This part of the Florida Trail follows along the Suwannee River to the parking area on the Little Shoals Tract. The trail continues along the river until it crosses US 41. From there hikers can cross the Suwannee River to the parking lot at White Springs. This trail is predominantly on lands of the Suwannee River Water Management District.

This trail travels to a scenic spot along the river, where visitors can enjoy views of the river as well as the local flora and fauna in the area. The trail eventually connects Little Shoals to Big Shoals. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. Bug spray is recommended due to the number of bugs present in the warm months.

This is a great hike along the Suwannee River. Users report that the end can get quite muddy and sometimes impassable due to flooding. There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers. The trail can be overgrown during some sections and users suggest downloading the route beforehand to navigate.
