Tour of the trails that make up the Cerro Azul Meámbar National Park circuit, also known as PANACAM. Its ecosystem is cloud forest, therefore it is possible to appreciate native flora and fauna (bird watching must be done very early in the morning) and have incredible views especially of Lake Yojoa. It also has several waterfalls.

Parque Eco-Archeological de Los Naranjos features set of trails with views of Lago Yojoa and Cerro Azul Meambar National Park. The park includes protected marshland, Lenca ruins, museum and rich biodiversity of plants, trees, birds and reptiles. Trails are well marked and maintained. $6 entrance fee.

Being the second highest peak in Honduras, this is an arduous trek with about 4 hours ascent to the peak. There is a singular viewpoint about two-thirds way up. One of the highlights of the hike is spotting Quetzals. Trails are poorly marked and a guide is required.

Hike along the trails of the Pulahpanzak Falls, which in addition to the attractive crystal-clear waterfalls also has a camping area, a viewpoint with impressive views, a swimming pool and a playground.
