The Gorges de la Jordanne path allows you to discover an exceptional and preserved site (only in the summer season, entrance fee). With a length of 3 kilometers and a depth ranging from 20 to 60 meters, the water of the Jordanne dug this site in the heart of this volcanic breach. The path is laid out by several works in respect of the fauna and flora.

Here is a beautiful hiking route that is suitable for family outings. Departing from Saint-Cirgues-de-Jordanne, the loop circles the hilly peaks that dominate this town in Cantal. The paved road leads you to the dirt road on the left which you will take at kilometer 1. At kilometer 2.1, the route crosses Le Chaumeil and takes the paths between pastures and undergrowth. After Laprade, you will descend to your starting point of Saint-Cirgues-de-Jordanne.

This hiking trail in the town of Laroquevieille in Cantal takes you into the Authre valley. The path connects the various hamlets in the direction of Marmanhac then reaches the wood where the route is more hilly. In Laroquevieille take the time to visit the Saint-Pardoux Church.
