This trail is part of the 2000 km long route of the Via Francigena which goes from Canterbury to Rome. A fantastic walk along the shores of beautiful Lake Geneva. The Sentier des Rives du Lac leads from Lausanne at the Port d'Ouchy to Lutry and back again. The main part of the path is paved, so it is also suitable for prams. Several beaches invite you to linger and enjoy in summer.

This trail starts in the port of Ouchy in the middle of the city. It is possible to leave the car there or travel by public transport. Then it goes past sports fields, jetties, and some important monuments along the promenade at a leisurely pace until it reaches Saint Sulpice. Visitors can take the ferry back or return the same way.
