This beautiful challenging route takes you up to Fort Cherle (1445m), a fascinating ruined and abandoned Austrian fortification from where you can enjoy a wonderful panorama. The fort is difficult to find so we advise you to carefully follow the signs for the Hotel Forte Cherle (1417m). The fort was built from 1911 to 1913 in a location 2 kilometers from the border of the time.

This beautiful route leads up to the Belvedere-Gschwent Fort where there is also a World War I museum. This stronghold was restored in 1900 and is particular because it is carved into the side of the mountain. The fort is very big to visit so it's worth having time.
