This is an easy hike between Village Park in Lawrence Township and Twin Pines Park, jointly owned by Lawrence and Hopewell Township, via Mercer Meadows County Park. Village Park has athletic fields and playground facilities. Twin Pines Park mainly just has athletic fields. Mercer Meadows is a nature preserve consisting of a restored grassland on the site of the former AT&T oversees transmission facility (a historic site).

This is an easy hike, pretty flat, through the Mercer Meadows "Pole Farm District" and "Farm District." Good in the evenings at sunset. Lots of wildflowers in the spring and fall especially. There's a nice observation platform for wildlife viewing.
