This route starts in Le Locle at the train station and then winds directly through the suburbs and then delves into the cultural landscape. It snodes along forest paths and across fields and meadows via the Sentier des Bornes path to Le Brévine. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few days of bad weather.

This hike starts in Les Brenets and then goes through the forest and past some caves near the lake Lac des Brenets to the shore of Lac de Moron lake, getting very close to the French border. Following the path to the Barrage du Châtelot dam it allows one to grasp some beautiful views on it and also to take a short break. Then it goes back on similar small paths to the beginning.

From Brenets it starts through the countryside along the shore of Lac de Brenets. Then one passes other shore paths and after about five kilometers the trail reaches the lake Lac de Moron. Then it turns off and on forest paths back to the beginning through the Cotes de Moron area. An ideal tour for a relaxed hike.
