Walking route Zeearend is a route set out by Staatsbosbeheer. The route is wheelchair friendly. You go through a beautiful nature reserve, along a lot of water and various viewpoints. It is a good habitat for many different birds, deer and foxes. The walking route is marked with green poles.

Nice round through the Hollandse Hout, the forest area next to the Oostvaardersplassen. The forest was planted in the 1970s, first with fast-growing trees such as poplar, alder and willow. Later beech and oak were planted. Wide grass paths and streams run through the forest, which you can enjoy during this walk. A peaceful area, inhabited by some rare forest birds and red deer.

The Moeraspad route is a dark blue marked trail from Staatsbosbeheer. The walk takes you through the Oostvaardersveld, an area located near the Oostvaarderplassen. The trail runs through swamps and past several pools, an excellent habitat for countless birds and across fields filled with wild herbs. There are viewing huts on the water for bird lovers.
