The Hall's Bend (Boy Scout) trail is an excellent hiking trail right here in Tellico Village. The trail is located in the north end of the Village. It follows the Tellico Lake shoreline for the first part of the trail and then climbs several steep hills to offer some great winter views of Tellico.

The first fork you come to; the left continues the trail while the right will be a short walk out to the point to see the lake. You will begin this trail from the Mizell Trailhead parking area easily found on Google Maps. Your hike will begin with a quick descend to a fork. To the right/more straight will take you to the Canal Branch trail, while the left side you will continue on to the Baker Hollow Branch Trail. The Davis Ferry Branch of the East Lakeshore Trail extends from the end of Antioch Church Road, extending southward paralleling the road for about one mile and then passing through a small portion of the Wind River golf course. This is private land; please stay on the trail and be courteous to golfers. It is an easy, pleasant hike through forested areas and along Powerline Cove of the Tellico Lake ending at the Glendale Trailhead where it joins the Glendale Branch.
