This route surrounds the Island of Lipari on a spectacular panoramic road with breathtaking sea views. Ideal to do by bike, car, or moped, but it's also a fantastic run for those who are fit. It is advisable to carry out the itinerary clockwise to overcome the large hill at the beginning and then find a less steep slope for the return.

Monte Guardia is also accessible directly from Lipari in a quicker and easier way.

The route begins on a paved road and passes through Montegallina, where it is possible to visit the church of San Bartolo al Monte. From here, the itinerary proceeds until it reaches the path that climbs steeply toward the top of Monte Guardia. The trail is overgrown and rocky in some places, so it is advisable to pay attention.
