This is a great trail for all skill levels. There are many off-shoot trails you can take to extend this hike, but trail markings are not always clear. There is a map available at the beginning of the trail. This area is pretty heavily trafficked and there is not plenty of parking. There are lots of nice spots to stop and see the water. The route is very well marked and maintained, following a mix of paved and divided trails and gravel trails. There are quite a few viewpoints and interesting bridges to see here, and this is a very popular birdwatching area.
